Mixed Grill PlatterOur Story
LATURKA began with a simple conviction: Turkish cooking doesn't need translation, only patience. Our recipes were carried across three generations — from a family grill in Gaziantep to a quiet room off Nagymező utca — and cooked here the same unhurried way, over real embers.
Every skewer is hand-threaded to order. Every köfte is shaped by hand, not machine. Our mezze bar is rebuilt each morning from produce bought the same day, because a proper Turkish table has never been about shortcuts — it's about care, repeated daily.
"Cook slowly, serve warmly, never rush a guest." — The LATURKA Kitchen
Signature Turkish Cuisine
No shortcuts, no pre-made stock, no frozen dough. Everything on your table was built here, this morning, the way it always has been.
Şiş and köfte finished over real embers for a smoky depth no gas flame can match.
Shaped and seasoned by hand each service, never pre-formed or frozen.
Our cold bar is remade each morning — nothing carried over from the day before.
Brewed to order and poured properly — no shortcuts to Turkish hospitality.
Chef Recommendations
Three dishes our head chef puts in front of first-time guests — the clearest introduction to the LATURKA table.
The clearest expression of our grill — lamb loin, charcoal, and nothing to hide behind.
The whole table in one plate — built for sharing, best ordered for the middle of the table.
Never skip it. Warm baklava with a glass of tea is how every proper Turkish meal should close.
Why Choose Us
Not gimmicks. Just the fundamentals, done properly, every single day.
190+ guests have rated us the highest possible score — earned one wood-fired plate at a time.
Every dish traces back to a family kitchen — nothing on the menu is a modern invention.
Stone, brass, and warm light — a dining room designed for long, unhurried Turkish meals.
The Restaurant Experience
Step inside and the grill is the first thing you notice — set in view of the dining room, so the smoke and sound of the charcoal are part of the meal, not hidden behind a kitchen door. Brass pendant lighting, reclaimed stone, and hand-woven Anatolian textiles set a tone that's warm rather than showy.
Service follows the same instinct: tea arrives without being asked twice, tables aren't rushed, and the staff know the difference between attentive and hovering. It's the kind of room built for a two-hour dinner, not a quick plate.

Customer Reviews
"Best Turkish food I've had outside Istanbul. The kuzu şiş was cooked exactly right, and the tea arrived without us asking. Properly warm service."
"We lived in Ankara for two years and this is the closest we've found in Europe. The mixed grill is generous and the baklava is made in-house — you can tell."
"The room itself is beautiful — warm, not showy. Hellim ızgara with honey was a revelation. Already planning our next visit."
"A group dinner for eight and every plate was outstanding. The staff paced the courses perfectly. This is now our go-to celebration spot."
