Fatih · İstanbul · Ottoman Table Since 1879
Five generations of Osmanlızadeler have kept the same recipes, the same slow fires, and the same welcome — traditional Turkish breakfasts, kebabs, mezze and baklava, served in the heart of historic Fatih.

Osmanlızadeler began as a single hearth in Fatih, where a household fed the neighborhood on bread, olives and whatever the morning market offered. Over five generations, that hearth grew into a table known across the old city — one where recipes were never written down, only passed from hand to hand.
Today's kitchen still keeps that same discipline. Yogurt is strained overnight. Dough is rested, not rushed. The copper trays that once carried breakfast to Ottoman courtyards now carry it to our own dining room, largely unchanged in spirit if not in address.
"Bereket, sofradan başlar." Abundance begins at the table — the house saying, since 1879
Ottoman Culinary Legacy
Not a restored palace, and not a stage set. A working kitchen with a long memory — where the craft is quiet, and the welcome has never changed.
Every signature dish traces back to a founding recipe, refined but never replaced by trend.
A traditional Turkish spread of cheeses, honey, olives and simit, served the way mornings were meant to be.
Adana, şiş and testi kebab, cooked over open charcoal the way our founders first cooked them.
Minutes from Fatih Mosque and the old bazaars, in the neighborhood where our story began.
Forty layers of dough, stretched by hand each morning, syruped in the old way — not too sweet.
A reputation built one table at a time, by guests who came back — and brought their families.
Chef's Recommendations
Four dishes our head chef, Kâzım Usta, returns to most — each one carrying a detail from the founding recipe book that's easy to miss and impossible to forget.
Traditional Desserts
Forty layers, one recipe, unchanged since the founding — the sweet end to every Osmanlızadeler table.
Antep pistachio, forty layers, hand-stretched each morning.
Rosewater Turkish delight, dusted with toasted coconut.
Shredded pastry, melted cheese, served hot from the tray with kaymak.
Any dessert, paired with sand-brewed coffee for the full house ritual.
Oven-baked rice pudding, caramelized on top, served in its clay bowl.
