Our Story

From Amman to Budapest,
With Love & Olive Oil

Zaytouna — meaning "olive tree" in Arabic — was born from a simple longing: to bring the warmth of a Jordanian family table to the elegant streets of Budapest. Every dish carries the memory of sun-soaked orchards, stone courtyards, and the scent of fresh za'atar.

Our kitchen honours recipes passed through generations — slow-marinated shawarma, hummus whipped to silk, kebabs kissed by charcoal, and platters meant for sharing. We source the finest olive oil, fresh herbs, and halal meats to create an experience that is both luxurious and deeply comforting.

"Ahlan wa sahlan — welcome to our table." — The Zaytouna family
